As we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic which has struck our country, we await guidance from the National office on a decision as to whether or not the National Convention will be able to be held. It is anticipated that this decision will be decided prior to the mailing of our National Delegate Ballots. To avoid unnecessary expense and to allow time for the National office to render a decision on the status of the 2020 national convention, mailing of the national delegate ballots has been postponed for 2 weeks until June 1, 2020. Under normal circumstances, national delegate election results are tabulated by the Election Committee at the State Convention each year. With the required 25-day time frame, the new mailing date of June 1 will place the date for retrieving and counting the ballots by the Election Committee well beyond the State Convention dates. Should the National Convention continue to be held, candidates will be notified of the date, time and location of the new pickup and tabulation time frame. Candidates will be notified immediately following the official results by the Election Committee and then posted on the State's website.
